Our First Blog
Most people blog individually, but I decided to make our blog together....because as the title says, Together we are HOME! The girls will probably hate that we are doing this, but it will give us a way to share our daily lives with our family and friends!
Today is Memorial Day. This is the first Memorial Day that Eddie has worked in forever. If we were at home in Mississippi we would be going to the service at the National Cemetary in Biloxi. This has been an annual outing for us, taking Mom. Here is a picture from last year it is one looking down the green to the Memorial. The flags lined the drive on both sides and the magestic Live Oak Trees were beautiful.
I had started this blog on Memorial Day. I didn't get a chance to finish it until today. We hoped to get out and take a few pictures in Hawaii but ended up going to see a movie when Eddie got off work. We enjoyed the movie, "What Happens in Vegas" and the quiet home when we got back from the movie!!
